Latin principle of CarpeDiem: ‘Seize the day’

The film ‘Dead Poets Society is a 1989 American drama film directed by Peter Weir and starringRobin Williams. Set at the conservative and aristocratic Welton Academy in Vermont in 1959,[2] it tells the story of an English teacher who inspires his students through his teaching of poetry.  [Source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dead_Poets_Society]

One of the best parts of the movie, and my very own personal philosophy. Keating inspires the boys to “Seize the day!!!”, as a prologue to his philosophy of free thought, transcendentalism, and individualism.
